4. User Responsibilities Users must provide accurate pickup and drop-off details. Users must behave respectfully towards drivers and comply with local laws. Smoking, drinking alcohol, or using illegal substances in vehicles is prohibited. Users are responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle during their ride.
5. Driver Responsibilities Drivers must have a valid driverās license, insurance, and necessary permits. Drivers must maintain their vehicles in a clean and safe condition. Drivers have the right to refuse service to passengers engaging in abusive or illegal behavior.
6. Payments and Charges Payment can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or digital wallets. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, tolls, extra luggage, or special requests. In case of non-payment, MeritTaxi reserves the right to take legal action or block the user from future rides.
7. Cancellations and Refunds Users can cancel a booking before a driver has been assigned without penalty. If a driver is already on the way, a cancellation fee may be charged. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within [X] business days.
